Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacterium that causes chronic

penicillin antibiotic. It fights bacteria in your body. Amoxicillin is also
sometimes used together with another antibiotic called clarithromycin
(Biaxin) to treat stomach ulcers caused by
Helicobacter pylori infection. This combination is sometimes used with a
stomach acid reducer called lansoprazole (Prevacid). Clarithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. Clarithromycin
fights bacteria in your body. ( Biaxin ) Omeprazole may also
be given together with antibiotics to treat gastric ulcer caused by infection
